Hamilton Hospital is licensed for 25 patient beds, employs approximately 225 people and is certified by the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals as a Critical Access hospital. The Hospital Laboratory is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The hospital continues to grow and change, we strive to remain a constant caring organization meeting the Healthcare needs of those we serve. The hospital has provider based clinic's in Jewell and Stratford, Iowa.

The Hamilton Hospital Board of Trustees is comprised of seven dedicated individuals elected by the public for six year staggered terms. Trustees volunteer their time and talents because they know how important Hamilton Hospital is to the quality of life of area residents. The Board of Trustees is responsible for setting hospital policy and for overseeing the overall operation of the hospital.
